Driving between towns keeping up to 90-100 km/h – 10L/100
    driving on a highway keeping up to 120-130 km/h – 13L/100
in city driving speeds up to 40-50 km/h – 15L/100
so when fuel prices in Bulgaria:
diesel - 1.27 euros per liter
petrol - 1.28 euros per liter
lpg - 0.61 euros per liter
Looks like the diesel price has gone up in Europe, it used to be a lot cheaper then petrol

I just got my best ever fuel consumption, 90% @ 100kph and 10% stop/start, managed 16.8l/100km on gas. Tyres at 40psi.

Just returned from a Trip to Porpunkah. Speedo reads 451 km's and Fuel Gauge is on Red Dot. (Gas)
300 km's towing a Jayco Dove Balance travelling up the Buckland Valley exploring Camping Spots.
The 300 k's was at 100/110 kph with the Air Conditioner on.
My Tank holds 106 Litres useable so that equates to 23.56 Litres per 100 k's. Not bad for 4500 GU

Yes, fuel is getting more expensive here in Aus. too.
Has been around $1.34 (with variations) but is pushing $1.40 now.
Don't know about Euros but our dollar is at the moment very close to the U.S.$
I'm from Adelaide in Sth. Aust. and we do have variations of up to 5c./l. between various suppliers
Nice hearing from the wrong side of the world!
    Good luck
    Col

I suspect there is something wrong.
No Chris, I was just looking at these figures too - everyone seems to be talking approximate fuel usage of Around town - 30 ltr's/100 klms. (That is the people with similar vehicles).
We have a 1996 GQ Wagon RB30 3.0L Petrol. My hubbie was trying to get an idea of k's to a tank this week. We usually fill up the tank before running it too low so didn't know what the maximum k's we could get out of tank were - but we've nearly got the gauge down to the bottom now and have only done 305km on 95 litre tank unleaded. Think it's only got another 10 or so k's left in it, but that seems about right if you look at everyone elses figures ie 90ltrs/300km. I think they're just hungry - have told him it doesn't help that he puts his foot down occasionally either - think he just likes the sound of it lol.

To work out Litres used per 100 k's Fill up Vehicle and record the K's shown on Speedo. After driving for say 150k's fill up again recording the Litres used and the Kilometres travelled since last fill and enter in the Calulator here http://motormouth.com.au/myvehicle/c...alculator.aspx
