Thread: 3" Redback exhaust, Performance Ok but go some questions.

    It took about 1000km of driving before my exhaust made any difference. It now runs great and I am really happy with it. Fuel economy is down 1L/100km and I have an improvement in low down torque. I also cleaned my MAF which helped too.
    I put on a 3" scotts rods

    Not so sure about CRD engine exhaust size but can confirm on the DI engine the factory exhaust system diameter is only 2'' and 1 3/4 '' from turbo flange to cat . Have just fitted the 2 3/4 '' beaudesert system to mine and I dont like it at all .... I love it ..

    hey steve how are you i noted twice now your not that happy with exhaust you should call shev and tel lhim what s goin on see what he can do as he is under the impression hes got the ducks guts exhaust system he should be able to back his system.kev

    Well now some 400km under the belt and i must say the performance is actually staggeringly better, just as i though, the torque range is simply nice and liniar, no more big bang and nothing.

    Starts to build at 1600 but at 1800 really going and by 2000 its well and trully on the boil. Loving it. On the highway its just great.

    One thing to note it still pulls well and trully into the 3800 range
