ATM my GU8 3L CDR is stock standard. In early Jan I'm getting a 2.75" Beaudesert exhaust. I already have the boost and EGT gauges, although not connected.

What I'd planned to do was to get the boost gauge wired and plumbed once the stores open again, then once the exhaust got here get the exhaust fitted, EGT gauge hooked up and then put it on the Dyno to fine tune.

I've been given conflicting advice about blocking the EGR on the current CDR engines. Are they needed? If so, do I need to do anything, other than what I have planned, after fitting the blanking plate, which I'll do prior to getting it on the dyno?
Mite aswell hook the egt up at the same time as the boost then all ull have to do is put the probe in 4 the exhaust then u all done, id b blocking the egr 4 sure, pull ur throttle bodie off and have a good look dwn ur inlet manifold then u make the decision if ur gona block it or not, trust me it'l b a no brainer
