I worked for myself for the last 25 Years (computer Industry) so Work was not that onerous.

Other than the Body slowing down a bit I dont feel 71.

Hope to find some Part time Work for a couple of Days a week just to keep interested.Just as long as I can take off Fishing & Camping when I want

Be careful of that part time stuff Bob. I started building and repairing computers as a hobby years ago. It turned into a full blown business which had me running all over the place, so I passed my customers on to a mate and went back to fishing again

I've had a mixed career - started off doing a Social Work/Law degree, got bored in 4th year and worked in commercial real estate. Then I moved into network engineering and built a few of the early ISP networks in this country (Ozemail, Powertel (AAPT), etc). Then did some of my own stuff in the industry then ran a company called PIPE Networks which runs fibre optic cable around the country. Even built a 7000km submarine cable from Sydney to Guam. Most recently decided enough of the corporate bollocks and started working with a mate in the same industry. Have scaled down the hours from 60-80 hours a week and on the phone when not at work to working about 4-5 hours a day 5 minutes from home and home everyday for lunch and by 5. Main reason for the change was two little girls arriving 12 weeks ago and was damned if the only time they saw me was in photos.
