Not a lot of people, but my camp is solar powered, and I don't want to hear a generator drown our my DVD while I'm watching it on my lappy. lol

Ya just need to plug your lappy into a fully sick amp and subby, crank to ten then settle down to your favorite home and away DVD

Even if you're not going to bed at dusk, surely no generators just for the 'serenity'???

With you there Bear, some folks need them for medical reasons but you would have to reckon a good battery set up and solar would do most peoples sleeping machines etc.

Funny how genny users have long leads and dont mind pointing the exhaust at other camp sites.
    Cheers

Can't see the point of taking one in first place. I love my camping and not once have I thought I must get a gennie.
defeats the point of going camping in the first place, as above wheres the serenity?

That's why more and more places ban gennies now. Good thing too IMO.

We use a Honda 2kva genie and can't even hear it as its on Eco all the time so very quiet. My wife doesn't handle heat very well and the caravan air con gets used abut during the bad days.
Although we always turn it off at dusk, except once we left it on past midnight, only cos we didn't hear it.

Never argue with an idiot, cos he'll bring you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

My apologies to all the people that need generators running for medical stuff and life support issues. You can camp by me any time.

The rest of you.....the rule still applies. lol
