    For all the guys that are heading out on your first off road drive please try and make sure that you have a rated recovery point front and rear of you car at a minimum.

    The pin in your tow bar will be fine for the back and a good chassis mounted hook on the front please. Also it's great if you can carry your own 8000kg snatch strap in good condition. Anything else you need someone will have your back but you all should have this.

    Have a great trip guys
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
    WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

    Yeah good point Darren as this has been one thing that has frustrated me before when trying to help out a stranger in need.

    The Look out is halfway between Flowerdale and Broadford and is where the really tight twisty bit on the map is... well sign posted as it is one of those touristy look spots.

    Yes this is kid friendly !!!

    Well hopefully we wont need it.... but then again I have an erg to do Cable track so a winch might be handy.... he he!!!

    Bills track always has big puddles no matter what and some are bloody deep, my mate sank his D-Max in one and more than 6 weeks later on a hill water still poured out of his car!!!

    Nah all good Kev, I would not suggest a track if I dont think a noob could do it.

    Bills track has chicken tracks around all the hard bog holes so we can all do that track and if we are lucky we can convince Jim and his D-max to go for a swim for our enjoyment!!!!

    How many are running all terrains and standard height????

    This is me on Bills track

    And this is Jim getting stuck on Bills track

    And this is Cable track, a bit harder
