It didn't have any affect on the ODO. I'm not too fussed as the ODO and Speedo were each out by different percentage. I really only use the ODO for maintenance schedules and can easily calculate the actual values.
Either way I look at it, adjusting the variable resistor is a very easy fix for the speedo. It only needed about 20 degrees in the clockwise direction, for 33" tires.
When you jigger with the resister, is this changing the pulses received from the transducer, therefore will change the speed across the board and not just adjust the needle? does that question make sense?
