I had the original leads and plugs on when I fitted the pertronix but because it was missing I first fitted new leads (as there was visible sparking under the bonnet at night!) but that didnt fix it so then I fitted new plugs which also made no improvement, so I then refitted my original coil (and ballast resistor) and still no difference! If the wiring was wrong then you'd think it would have the miss all along instead of slowly getting worse as the engine heats up.
Going to do the test tonight
