Body twist when accelerating/one wheel drive???

    Hey guys,

So after my weekend trip, the whole car twists in
the arse whenever I accelerate. Feels very very wrong.

Some strange noises coming from the LSD when I'm turning
At slow speeds and low revs.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers, kade

You've cracked the chassis or your diff is real sad, sorry to say, then again , maybe a shocky has died.
If it's a leaf spring, check the centre bolts and spring hangers.
    Cheers, the ferret.

Interesting point, the shock top nut fell out near on the end of the trip
And that's when the problem started. Fixed the shock and the problem
    Persists...

Also twist probably isn't the right word. Let's say it sways, like one wheel is doing all the driving or something...

Yeah, I was thinking the worst, then something in my head said "shocky" glad it was a cheap fix.
Ya wanna drive it down the road with no rear shockies, what a laugh, you'll get seasick lol
    Cheers, the ferret.

check you haven't cracked or snapped one of the suspension components in the rear, sway bar, panhard rod etc. Does it still drive in a straight line or does it pull?

Ahh it pulls initially and changes the direction a little bit. Then remains constant till I take my foot off the accelerator

Had the same problem with a car years ago and it turned out to be the control arm bushes.

I'd say control arms. Check upper and lowers aren't bent and bushes are in good condition. Alternatively take it to Pedders for their 28point $14 suspension safety check. Well worth it as they might find other issues (obviously you'll prioritize what you fix first)
