Hi All
I'd like some spots in the bumper of my 98 shorty like the factory fit ones - does anyone know where I can get some and is it just a case of cutting a hole and fitting them or is it more involved?
Cheers
Nick

You cant make a bracket to come through just above your number plate? You'll need them to be sturdy with all the vibrations etc. Going to stick out like dogs nuts, would that be legal over there?
20" light bar may be better?

I'd be looking on ebay or something for a bumper that someone has removed when installing a bull-bar.
Might come complete, and cheap.
Or as threedogs said, mount the above the number plate where a suitable structure is to prevent vibration.
Fog lights and spots function differently, and do different things
06 GU IV Nissan Patrol wagon 3.0L, Tough Dog 2" lift, Xrox bar, 12k Mako winch, 33" muddies, 3" exhaust, Awning, UHF, drawers & fridge, custom sliders, DVDs, custom water tank and pump, rack etc etc.
Now just in - GQ Shorty 4.2 petrol, UHF - but looking at turbo or V8 conversion
Unfortunately in the UK bull-bars are few and far between so complete bumpers are rare. Cheapest and easiest would be some to fit the bumper like the factory ones, but can't find any :-(
Bugga the spotties, OMG a GU shorty, have never seen one before, you got a side shot mate? Looks great

Yes, but at around AU$580 not something I'll be doing quickly! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-PAT...item3a52f2221e
Bit pricey , surely an engineering shop should be able to make you a bracket that comes off your radiator support bracket. Don't know if full bodied HID lights would look ok, maybe some thin 100watt Hella or similar. I'll check mine but sure its doable.
