I believe the 2.8 have a core capacity of 35mm where as the 3.0 have a 55mm core which would explain the extra top up. The way the core runs in the two are different setups and the 3.0 just allows it to carry a larger capacity to help with cooling. Good to see they both fit perfectly for ya. Hope this helps!
