DX grunt produces his first bow wave

Mud isn't my thing, but I thought I'd give it a go.

My springs dug into the mud and I got recovered from the rear hitch.

Went via the resale route in the next puddle, and found myself producing a bow wave, just over bonnet level.

That's the first time my truck has ever played submarines and I had a ball. Wish I had a passenger to remember the Kodak moment. lol.

Now to spend the next 3 days cleaning off the smelly mud. hahaha

    Take care out there.

Don't laugh too hard. I was the first of 3 that got bogged there. The only reason my truck got stuck was that the 8 leaf springs in the back end, dug into the mud. It didn't help that 16 vehicles had gone through the same patch of mud BEFORE me!!!!! Bluddy troll drivers with muddies, cut up the solid ground that I would have breezed through. lol

I'm not a fan of wet, sloppy, smelly mud, either. lol

My saving grace for the day was when I produced my Stihl Farm Boss chainsaw. It went a long way to helping move the big tree. The day trip would have almost certainly turned into an overnighter, with 20 trolls in convoy, with no where to go and no where to do a U turn.

With the 3 of us getting bogged, it separated the group for a while, but at least our group was all GU's and one Jeep (from another Club) lol

So let me get this straight: your convoy got split into two groups....1 being the Q's leading the way as usual and the second group being GUs and a jeep left behind and struggling.....

    Lmao!!

    Exactly.

In my defence, there were about 16 fully loaded trolls that went thru before me. I must remember not to carry so much stuff,
then my plastic U tastic would have floated thru - with a bit of a run up. PML
