Nitro Vs Factory Ring & Pinion gears

I am currently in the process of changing gear ratios in my GQ, The factory 4.63:1 ratio gears are about $560 each end and the Nitro ones are $470 each end. I am wondering if anyone has any input to the Quality of the Nitro ones or the Factory ones? I wouldn't mind saving $180 but I don't want them to break sooner, costing more in the long run.
I have a bit of history in the Import scene and what I have seen of after market gears compared to OEM gears of the same price was that the OEM gears were far better quality than the After market stuff.

While I'm at it would it be worth replacing all the wheel bearings and swivel hub rebuild? my bearings sound and feel good but my swivel hubs do leak a tiny bit of oil. I'm guessing if Oil can come out, than water can come in?

I dont know too much about the diff gears. but alot of aftermarket gear for patrol arn't as good as factory. personally I would go genuine, as the patrol diff didnt get their reputation on aftermarket gear.

I would redo the swivel hub and wheel bearings. I have 35's on a 15x10 rim with -44 offsey, they are wide and there is a lot of extra stress on the hub area, I didnt do the swivel hubs etc as the didnt need them at time but they have degraded quickly since the new tyres/wheels and now they have to be done.

the oil leak will be fron the outer axle seal, that also means you'll have oil in the cv's. it might be worth inspecting and or replacing them, get a spare one. I did keep a short side cv as they are hard to come across sometimes, untill I broke it and havnt replaced it, Nissannewby always carries a long and short side with him.

I have heard about these nitro gears being pretty good. However I'm with ben-e-boy stick with genuine and you will have less issues you may save 180 now but it may end up costing you a lot more along the track. If you have your diffs apart i would certainly be rebuilding them the parts are cheap and its an easy enough job. The seals on your knuckles are designed to keep stuff out not in hence they will leak oil if your axle seal is gone. They dont normally have to keep anything in as this area is sealed from the diff oil. Again with ben-e-boy inspect your cv's while your at it make sure they are moving well and dont have excess play in them. Hope this helps.
