Advice pls: Where can I get a spare wheel (17x8) around Canberra?

I tried Gary's 4WD wrecker and Franks - both at Queanbeyan. Neither had a spare in stock. Franks could get one from Qld - but not overnight - for about $125 (but I don't know if that was alloy or with tyre...) Anything that would arrive next week would not suit me (due to my lack of planning)...
I bought a new steel rim. And will have a 2nd hand tyre fitted - a near new one (or new) from a vehicle that had it's full set (x5) replaced... Both coming from Goodyear at Fyshwick. 17 x 8 steel rim with zero offset was $150 sourced overnight. They had a pair of 2nd hand highway tyres in stock. - so I got the better (probably the 'spare'); $100 fitted and balanced. $250 all up - but I wanted the wheel by the weekend.
I could have acquired a steel rim from the tyre service just north of Goodyear on Newcastle St - for under a $100. And Bob Jane (on Wollongong) could have gotten me a steel rim for about $120. But both would not arrive till next week. [And maybe both of those had a -11 offset...]
North West Tyres (also on Wollongong) has a set of highway tyres x4 (also $100 each fitted and balanced) - but those were manufactured in 2003. There were no cracks or perishing apparent...
So, now I have a second spare - but could possibly have done it a bit cheaper - if I had started looking a bit earlier.

Tonks: Most people with whom I spoke said that my 17" were 'uncommon'. 16" were easier.
I suggest you give Franks a go. I found the bloke there quite obliging.
