Well the multimedia unit turned up this morning and is now installed and working fine. Things don't usually go that smoothly for me
I own a GU IV built in 2005. The adapters I bought from Repco were Double diverysity lead Aerpro AP 348A ($12.99) to convert the Nissan aerial lead to "normal" male aerial plug and an ISO adapter APP0120 ($14.99).
As you mentioned the 12v wire for ignition volts and memory volts where a about t. The ISO adapter had one plug with the power leads fitted with bullet connectors, I simply swapped the yellow and red leads at the bullet connectors and all is now well, no memory loss (stations and other settings). Pity it isn't that simple to restore my own memory
I have OziCE up and running, my reverse camera attached via the Aux video in cable, and the DVD "off except with hand brake on" disabled by earthing that wire to the body of the unit.
Thanks for your advice.
