Leaving to one side 04OFF's skills in taking the picture, its ama2ing how science has advanced in the last few hundred years. Not only can we buy the tools to take such a photo of a distant subject, but then we can share it around the world with a few clicks of the mouse........
Nice photo, Steve!
RIP - valued member and true gentleman of this forum that will be missed by many!

They are nice pics must be a god camera to make ole nudgee beach look good lol
Seriously though.. Are those pics straight off the camera or have they been run thru fotoshop even just a little bit?
I used to cruise... NOW I PATROL!
Seriously, the first one was slightly trimmed/cropped/cut or whatever you wanna call it, just a small amount was from removed from the top and bottom of the image (this is normally as much as i do), sometimes its "cut off" to remove something i dont want in the picture, or to enlarge a object of intrest such as a car etc, but more often than not, its to just make the pic more pleasing to "my eye", i only use the basic software that came standard with the camera for this, and no, not even a little bit in Photoshop.
I do have a version of Photoshop, but i found it too hard to use, because im to lazy to spend hours learning it, or too stupid (or both), only twice have i used it on any of my pics, my "Rig Shot" image and one other pic on my wall, both was to remove a unwanted item/s, not to change the pic. (and that took hours of Googleing, lol), apart from that, i have only ever used the standard camera software to make small changes (mostly cropping if any) all other image influences are camera settings and filters/ lenses/operator, etc all done in real time as i shoot.
My goal is/was always to learn how to take good pics with the camera on location, not use the PC to "fix" em at home later, as thats never been "my" idea of "Photography"
So anyway, to actually answer your question Tonka, No Photoshop was used at all, apart from trimming the first pic, no computer changes were made, no colour saturation, contrast, brightness, trickery etc, etc, no modification in anything at all, 100% as they were dumped from the camera , then reduced in size and uploaded to Photobucket (this looses a fair bit of quality too), then simply posted for your enjoyment (or so you can hate me just a lttle more, ha-ha)![]()
