Hey mate, im doing the front diff this weekend. I also did a search but i found what i was looking for......recomended 80W-90 in the front diff (no locker).
It did say what to use for the back but i cant remember......Youll have to have another go at searching. Put in difff+oil and it will be there somewhere. Goodluck
Hello from Under Down Under!
80w-90 for the front and i use 85w-140 lsx in the rear
Heres a good write up on maintenance and oils etc

So the front doesn't need LSD oil but the rear does
yep unless you fitted an lsd to the front lol
Yeah mate. I use 80w-90 in my g/box, transfer and front diff and 85w-140lsx oil in the rear diff. It is possible to fit an lsd out of a path finder into the front of a gq.
yeah i dont want to go that far of changing diffs etc im using gulf western top dog in my crankcase and finding it great and was thinking of using the gulf western gear lube 80w90 in the diff as i find all there products good and cheap what do you think
Yeah it should be fine check your owners manual it will give you the oil spec for it then just double check your oil of choice matches
will do thanks guys
