    G'day from NQLD

G'day my name is Tony and live up in Atherton NQLD. I have recently purchased a 09 Patrol UTE and having an absolute ripper of a time exploring all the tracks up here. Broke her a couple of times but read your forum to put me on the right track for repairs. Was a Sierra owner so big change. Looking forward to getting more info off this great sight. Cheers from Tony.

    Welcome, Tony!

A bit more roomy than a Sierra, but bigger and heavier too - and on fuel as well. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on relative strengths and weaknesses.

Hi Silver, definitely a big change going from a Suzuki Sierra to a Patrol. I chose the Patrol over other 4x4s for many reasons. I read about there capabilities on numerous sights on the net. The Sierra felt to small towing my Catamaran, bit of a overhang. The fuel use is not to bad in comparison. Sierra was carby, had a 2 inch lift with rather large muddies. When you talk about strengths. WOW. Very controllable vehicle both off and on road. What a machine!
