Well, you know the story by now. Torque converter (was stuffed, needed replacing anyway) a few days off the road. Then found i had no TPS (because it had a manual carby fitted, obviously with no place to put a TPS), tried to get another carby, got stuffed around by a wrecker in vic....there goes another month. Then still not fixed so box fitted with a trans fluid pressure gauge for me to watch and report what was going on, there goes another three weeks. then christmas, blah blah blah another month before ya know it. Box pulled out and gone over with a fine tooth comb, vound it was in awesome reco condition so decided to fit an exchange nomad valve body from auto wholesale, theres another 10 days or so. All re fitted, problem still there, another fortnight before i could book it back in. That valvebody was ment to have a new temp sensor fitted but alas they forgot to fit one so box back out and problem solve again (thinking it couldnt be a temp sender as it was a new one fitted at wholesale autos). there goes another week. Then temp sender checked after everything else was checked and rechecked. Second hand temp sender fiited (one that was laying around at the mechanics) PROBLEM FIXED!!! for 6 weeks then problem started again. another fortnight before i can get it back in. Hoped that the the second hand temp sender had failed so purchase a new one from nissan,fortnight wait......sent wrong one, another week till i could tell them......another fortnight wait for the right temp sender............and another week till i could book it in at the shop......and here i am!!
So its not really the mechanics fault just a combination of let downs!

A good lie in with coffee and the wife watching the Anzac festivities on TV. A lazy day perhaps wiring up the fog lights on the Trol if I can be bothered. A few drinks later in the day and a nice hot dinner with a bottle of red, then nod off in front of the TV in an alcoholic stupor if my luck holds out. Is that enough, or do I have to do more?

So are you back home in the bossom of your hearth (lap of your missus if you need it simple)? LMAO I was supposed to lead a trip to Willangi near peterborough this coming weekend, but I think my club is full of Collingwood supporters as onley one put his name down. I can't even claim credit for that as I was asked to take over after the trip leader's wife has to go to hospital. Looks like a bbq with the grandkids instead. Did you get the bank job finished? What was the haul?
