yes the recomended plug for the standard 4.2 is BPR5E to use lpg go to a BPR6E
or ask at repco or sprints the will tell you
or if you want to go platinum plugs the codes are slightly different

yep - agree
i have gone from the 5 to the 6, also went from the .8 gap to 1.1. You will notice a difference.
I also advanced the timing to the max through the distributer, performs much better, but must watch putting regular petrol in, you may get some pinging with the timing so forward.
I find hi octane petrol works ok - 95 or 98. Definately better performance and economy on lpg.
