HID's will give the best beam length. LED's have awesome light quality and throw out a lot of light. If your looking to light up the sky a nice LED bar coupled with some HID's should have you seeing just about everything.

I've got both on my Patrol. The light bars are awesome for off road stuff where you want to light up everything for about 300 metres. They can be a bit annoying on road because the reflection off the road signs is like someone coming towards you with there high beams on. The reflection is much worst then HIDs when your talking the bigger light bars. HIDs are more suited for distance and on road as they have heaps more distance then the light bars.

    Cheers Mick.

I don't know whether other people have experienced this sort of service before or not but I rang Light Force last week to see if I could buy some spot reflectors as mine are spread and I wanted more distance. They said they wont sell them to me but if I send the lights down to them they will replace them and send them back at no cost. I'd have to say that it some of the best service I've ever had. One of the guys even offered to get there courier to pick them up for free.

They did say the reason they couldn't just send the reflectors was because there where few changes to these lights at the beginning so without looking at the light it was hard to tell what reflectors would fit it.

So I have to give Light Force a big rap for there service here.

    Cheers Mick.

Thanks everyone for your informitive replies.
I've certainly had quite a bit of positive feed back about Lightforce and Roolights so it will be a tos of the coin.
    Thanks all.
