Don't want to poop on your parade, but unless you plan to be running mid 9s and 140MPH, i doubt you will get the fastest AU patrol title you would really like.......

Its unfortunate, because i can understand what you are doing, (and i prefer your idea) and yours will be a actual "4wd", and be able to be used as a daily driver on the street "and" taken off road, the sad part as always with any type of drag "title" in general, is that sometimes street cars often have to compete with drag cars that have number plates.

Perhaps you could go for the fastest "4WD" Patrol in AU ?

Yes well seeing as Heath is pushing 1000PH and seems to be a dedicated strip queen (Not trying to offend anyone but with the little knowledge i have about his Patrol) that's how it looks, please correct me if I am wrong. I think i'll have to settle for AU's second fastest road reg partol or maybe in the top 10 lol. it was only a title for a forum thread anyway, not really a goal.

Yes, that Patrol is a credit to its owner, unbolt the wheelie bar, and bolt up a exhaust system and i bet you could drive it around on the road no problem at all (assuming it doesn't get hot in traffic etc), the race fuel could be a problem on the street, and i see he's also in the "cheaters club" (NOS) lol.

Having being into drag racing most of my life, im still old school, where if you run a "street car" at the drags, you run it "exactly" as you drive it on the street, otherwise your time say's very little (this meant only 185 rear tyres for me)

It would be very interesting to see what it runs in my idea of "real street trim",pipes up, pump fuel, no wheelie bars or bottle etc, going by the weight & HP (still running the ET Streets) it would still have to be around high 10's @ 120+MPH, so not to be sneezed at !

Try asking him if he's interested in taking it over to Fraser Island for a weekend of camping and fishing tho

rb 26 tt = awesome, but if i was to do a twin turbo in a patrol, and im a die hard nissan man.... it would have to be the all alloy quad cam 4.5lt vh 45 out of the infinity,v8 torque turbo hp... best of both worlds these things are now the drift waepon of choice in the likes of s13 and s14's in the us and make massive power ...

There is a SWB GQ getting around here with one of those infinity V8's in it. It was featured in 4WD action about 6 months ago. I have seen it at a mechanics but havent seen it in action. He was having a lot of problems with cooking the auto. Would be pretty damn fun in a SWB though!
