After reading this post yesterday I removed mine as it leaked.
Checked , yeah flowed in both directions, given me the sh### for a while now no water.
Hand pump spray bottle with car wash in it, few squirts either way.
Flushed under tap.
Still no good.
Have a bottle of hydrochloric acid.
Dipped a small round file in and applied directly in valve a few drops inside
Giving 1 minute and the valve spring a little work /prodding with file end.
flushed out again with water.
hold valve up hard against running tap with file inserted to work valve internals .
re-flushed with pump bottle car wash squirts and flushed again with clean water.
FIXED, for about 5 cents and 5 minutes
