    winch issue !

hey people , i have got a tmax 9000lb winch, problem i have is when i fit it into the cradle on my cheezy bar the clutch release hits against the main bar , which prevents it from being disengaged , can i rotate the housing and move the clutch handle 90 degrees ,or do i have to rotate whole winch and make a new vertical mounting plate or forget the whole idea as too hard ??

it needs to be twisted, you wont get it 90 degrees, prolly about 75.
i paid someone $50 quid to twist mine,
any 4wd shop can do it for you, if you are unsure .
DO not make a fandangle bracket, you'd be creating a weak point.

    Cheers big ears !! LOL's

Rotate the end plate and it will go straight in. Very common mod. Just undo the end bolts and rotate. You should not have to even take it off, nut take out the bolts and rotate then re install the bolts.

    No new brackets needed

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Just be careful to not over tight the end bolts either mate as they can snap easily.
