Im really stressing, my sub tank aint transferring anymore, please help me.

Like i said guys, im stressing hard,
for a over the top happy bloke like myself, i have had an exrutiating week thus far,
and so typical, something just had to let go..... somewhere, anywhere..
Ive kept my kool all week, but i just wanna knock a cab drivers head in .... ( not really, but you all know that feeling!!LOL's)

This is no. 3... ya know how everything comes in 3's??

Anyhow, to my dismay, i press the sub tank switch on my GU IV 2006 3.0
and no transfer. ( switch works fine)
But............
I now get a rattle sound from underneath, about mid ship. drivers side..( like a rattlesnake) ( only when i press the sub tank switch)
to me looks like that gold fuel filter pump thing.

but not sure really.

Can someone tell me what part it is that transfers the fuel from one tank to the main, that is controlled by the sub tank switch.

possibly a part no. or description.

im not one to mess around, when it comes to my precious, if i can find this out,
i'll have it sorted asap.

im just so over this week guys.

how much fuel have you in your main tank when you try the sub
it wont trasfer if the main is near full

1/4 tank bro.
just tried the " unplug +ve terminal from the battery" trik to reset the ecu..
still noisy as hell...
seems the pump has had its day.

does anyone have a pic of one, or part no.
so i get the right part at the wreckers

If you don't get any answers LJ I would download the Nissan Fast software which should give you part numbers for it...
