    Quick tb42 carby questian!

Just wondering if the manual carby can be put on an auto? Is it just a case of putting the TPS on the manual carby or is it a no go?

hi mate, the manual carby has a different bottom section where the TPS goes - the butterfly shaft on the auto carb sticks out further to fit the TPS on the end. . You can take the bottom plate off your auto carb and fit it on to the manual one which will allow you to fit the TPS.

Turned out I missed the bloody auction by about 30 seconds. It was for an engine with the carb on it and it only went for $100 (was local to me). i was just gonna re-sell the engine and keep the carb. Serves myself right i spose!

Send the seller an email expressing your interest if the current buyer falls trough.

Picked up a few things myself doing this.
