    Grease points for the gu

I have read the "What to keep my eye on? Preventative Maintenance" nothing yet on greasing
I am unable to find any grease nipples on the GU y61
this is very different to the MQ
    Cheers

    Hi Lenkiet1234.
There should be one on each tailshaft slip joints plus one on each u joint.
Do not over grease any of these points, one or two pumps of the gun is enough.
over greasing of the tail shaft can cause the welch plug in the shaft to be pushed out and the grease thenfills the tail haft.

The front hubs are factory greased and would only be re greased if you had a bearing repack as per service manual intervals.
Not sure of interval period. If you have grease leaking out at the hub you will have to service it and replace the seals. On Patrols these hubs give very little trouble.

Make sure you keep an eye on the servicing intervals for the front wheel bearings. Missed mine and shortly after they let go. Not a cheap exercise
