A little bit of work done today (after fitting a new coil ... died this morning ... grrrr). Started on changing over the flares from the factory numbers to the new and improved Bunnings version!! lmao

Used the plastic mounts off the old flares (cut them off) in the interim till I decide what would work best (full stainless mount or individual stainless tabs), but even so, they have worked a treat.

Now I just need that big rubber under them to fill up the space a bit - amazing how much the arch has opened up (seriously looks an inch taller just because of that!). Should come up a million bucks with the 35's under them ...

Will finish off the passenger side in the morning ...

Just 75mm garden edging ... best thing though is mounting it with the allan key bolts lets me take them off and replace if something better crops up - cheap too!!

And yep, fitting the valve body myself - I won't be able to get anyone to do it as we leave early Thursday morning, and hopefully it arrives on Tuesday, which only leaves me through the day Wednesday to do it ....

Yeah mate, heading to Sydney over two days - arrive the 23rd.

Yep, valve body should be straight forward - I'll let a professional do the torque converter lockup switch and temp gauge though when I get back.

Thanks mate ... they definitely need a bit of heating to get them to mould to shape and stay there ... did part of the first one, but thought it didn't need it as such, didn't do the back half and it's shifted a little already .. might fix tomorrow if I feel up to it.
