There are some beautiful mags out there. I understand that alloy rims have higher load ratings than steel too.
What counts against them for me is:
I can enjoy them better on other people's toys
I'd then have to do something about improving other aspects of Silver's appearance, and then Silver might decide it didn't want to be seen with me :-)
I'd cry when I scratched them - less so if off road, but rivers of tears if it was a gutter scrape
I'd have to extract the digit and wash the brake dust etc off them.
I'd possibly spend the $$ on a lift first.

There's a few 4x4 around with the same wheels - seemed to all pop up around the same time which is annoying when you pay $3500 (that was 5 wheels & tyres) for something you 'thought' nobody really had
Saw them on a Triton last week with these huge arse mud tyres and honestly they looked like crap!
PS: I'd hate to be paying for some of tyres I've seen on this forum

yeah that's a massive pain and to see them on a Triton, well it could have been worse, it could have been a Toymota.
But I know what you mean you want something different and then after you get them you see them more and more.
I was over at Strathpine Second Hand & New Tyres and saw some nice looking mags as I am in need of some tyres, so I thought well I should just get a package.

Here are my mags. I know that I won't see another Patrol with them as I have been trying to buy a couple more for some time now and I can't find them anywhere. (new or second hand)
