Well I'm a Fitter/Turner/Toolmaker, Plant mechanic, but I spent the last 45 years in the building trade doing earthworks commercial and domestic.
Made 15000 bricks for my new house and fully conversent with concrete, tiling, carpentry, engineering and bricklaying.
I invented a product 20 years ago and now spend my complete retirement manufacturing it!!! along with many other products.
I just wish I had gone down this road 45 years ago LOL(lookout ARB)
I think that once you learn a trade, you eventually come back to it if you see an opening.
I also have a fantastic Wife who does all the books and posting.
Well that's my story and I'm stick'n to it.
    Cheers, the ferret.

HI all, I work in community aged care. I assist the elderly members of the community to remain living in the community and not enter permanent aged care facilities for as long as they can possibly remain living at home. Another role I have is Assistance with care and housing for the aged (ACHA). As an ACHA worker I assist people over the age of 60yrs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to find alternative accommodation.
Previously I have worked in the disability field, from residential to day centres and even as a specialized tour guide!

    Lots of fascinating jobs above!

I'm off on another project at the moment, but ordinarily I lead 10 teams of ATO auditors.

No, no ... just joking ... love them all (worked in the ATO for 6.5 years many moons ago, and a heap of time with the audit group).

Hahaha ... I wish mate - if I sold that one I could retire!!!! Outsourcing is still a dirty word around some government departments, but I was involved in getting EDS in there many years ago!!!

    G'day all.

For those that don't know me, my name's Midge.

I'm a retired bar maid, oops, I mean bar assistant.

Depending on how many drinks you have, will depend on how old I look. Some times I look 80, some times I look 40 and other times I look oooo la la.

I'm an old girl from way back. Love a yarn and love to play arrows (darts, for you youngins).

My falsies are starting to go a bit yellow. The implants, silly.

I love a ciggy the morning after. Just like you love your bacon and eggs.

Working behind the bar for most of my life was an experience that's not everyone's cup of tea. I was lucky enough to work all around Oz.

Lost a couple of teeth along the way, but ya get that - all part of the job. I gave as good as I took!

I'm a bit camera shy, so if there are any of my old flames out there that remember me, post a pic.

    Love to all.
