Ok guys looked at a patrol had 259,000 ks on the clock is this a lot ? .was auto . paint was rough seemed ok to drive but did pull to the left badly they did a w/alignement still pulled but not as bad any ideas ? . auto seemed to clunk into 2nd gear at a low revs but was ok when you pushed the peddle to the metal . is there anything to look for with the autos ? .motor did not seem to have boost all the time ?above 1800 revs that is ? are the autos differrent to manuals boost i mean ? took a 05 manual for a drive sweet as . another thing opened the oil filler cap fumes and oil lots of is this normal ? they wanted 20,000 fair price or not . thanks for your help Trev p.s am new to this troll thing but not to 4x4 ing not sure what to look for in a troll .

Not a fair price with those faults, keep looking you can do a lot better.

Definatley leave that one man. Lots of Kms for that price. doesnt sound good with that trans either.

I picked up a 2003 GUIII ST-L 3L auto with 245,000kms for well under $20k. This was with a good service history, recently serviced auto and a new alternator.

I'd keep looking until you find something with a decent service history or lower kms.

I picked up my 2001 Patrol. 230,000km Auto. Perfect condition and a ton of extras, i mean alot. Drives like a new one
i payed 20k for mine, but the car was perfect and had everything i wanted really. Dont have to spend anything on it.

i got a 2003 mdle last year from a yard with 128000 km on the clock paied $28 000 only mod was 2inch shock standard springs with a woren towball mine is also a auto she has driven perfactly since i have ond her.
if u have patients and have a good look u will come across something the same price in much better condition
