air compresors

Can anyone tell me what brand is a good air compresor to have in your car ? and who dose a good price

Hey Marc, I have a ARB compressor under the bonnet of my Q also had one one the old GU cannot fault them but they are a bit expensive, the reason that I have and had one was to run the front lockers.
Looked for the receipt for the last on but cannot find it.
There are a lot of portable compressors out there but don't know what they are like, ARB do make a portable compressor but again I do not know how much they are.

I've got a magazine at home which has tests and results on a dozen different compressors. I'll dig it out when I get home next week and post some results for ya.
From memory the ARB one did pretty well.

Has anyone heard anything about the ones on ebay. They are offered by a 4wd retailer on there. They look pretty inviting, going by the tech data, and they're red.

Endless air is the go, engine driven 8cfm@ 2000 rpm.Can run air tools etc with a small tank
