So it is, I thought it had to be some form of sinusoidal expression because it went up and down, but dismissed it as it wasn't uniform, should have thought about tangential. Oh well, I like that question.

A man died and went to the crossroads of heaven and hell. Here he was faced with 2 blank doors, one that lead to heaven and one that lead to hell. There was a guard on each door. Guard no. 1 always tells the truth. Guard no. 2 always lies. Of course the man wants to go to heaven but he can ask only one question to one guard before deciding which door to walk through.

How is he able to choose the right door?

I think he could ask" is this the right way to heaven?"..

That would be OK if he asked the trughful guard, but if he asked the liar guard he'd end up in hell!
