not got a split fuel hose that only leaks under pressure ????
a G Q on one of the 4x4 trips we used to do years ago
had that problem , the leak was on the right hand side in front of the break booster / above the chassis
and i found it by pressureizing the fuel tank that was the only way we found it

wel the trailer is always on exept for when im off road so thats not much of a factor the trailer is included in my normal running costs as it is a day to day runner 5 to 6 days a week i dont drive it much without the trailer on
