Hi everyone, new to the forum and need advice asap..

I've been looking around for a Patrol for some months now. Owned a GQ a couple of years (Petrol) but had to reluctantly sell as it was burning a hole in my pocket driving it from one side of Melbourne to the other everyday.
I test drove a 2009 NISSAN PATROL GU 6 MY08 ST today, very clean, 58000 on the clock, minimal off road and very interested in it. Would really appreciate feedback for those who have had experience with this model, what you think of them, anything I should be looking out for, what the difference is in motor's when comparing to the 2006 etc., Thanks.

I thought it would have been but don't like to assume.

2009 will be a CRD engine which are very reliable compared to the earlier DI motors, I've heard they can be a bit thirsty.

For such a new car there shouldn't be much to look for, have a good look underneath to get an idea of how it's been used. The gearbox cross member and fuel tank guard are the first things to get damaged off road.
