Long time reader, gained much advice from here so thank you.
I’m a self employed electrician doing my own thing out west of Brisbane. Had a 2004 GU DX ute up to Friday when I had a nasty head on with a water cart truck on a rural road, somehow walked out and drove home. Car is a mess tho. Pays to have a bull bar.
The old Ute was a td42 turbo with 35s on 4” dobinsons, no major engine mods just intake etc. Drove well just didn’t stop on loose gravel roads very quickly, not with a trailer anyway.
Anyhow onwards they say so new adventure is a chopped wagon and getting the 4” lift sorted. The 4 piston brake upgrade I recently bought will go to the new rig and whatever I can take off the Ute. Found a well looked after plated chopped wagon that is need of a new box and engine, very tidy rig inside and out for a 99 model.
