Had to see why everyone likes the VHC

Just got back from a bit of a trip to visit some relatives and have a look at the Vic High Country.
Took about 4 weeks with over 2 weeks in the high country covering a lot of tracks - a few on our plan were closed. A bit disappointing to see such a lot of rubbish left around where only the 4WD community could go. We did try to leave each camp site a little better than we found it by carting out several bags of rubbish and burning heaps of 'white roses'.
Three vehicles in the group and all three remained intact.
I have a Brown Davis long range sub-tank and did manage to dent it quite a bit - probably a mistake in hindsight as they hang down too far for this sort of driving. Despite the damage there was no leaking so I reckon that says a lot for the quality of the welding.
