Hey guys, joined the forums as i needed a workshop manual for my GQ, so heres a post about me, it, what im doing, and future plans.
Me:
30 something, self taught mechanic / fabricator / tuner / auto elec / all around "the guy my mates come to for help"
It:
1992 GQ Patrol i got off my dad for free.
TB42, auto, 92 model Ti
35's, 2 inch lift, 4 inch shocks in the rear,
kitchen/fridge in the back, 200AH 12v setup in the rear
car width light bar up top, 4 corner lights for camping/crawling
No barwork, so plenty of battle scars
Twin ARB Compressor
ARB bullbar
oricom UHF
Kings dominator winch
Haltech elite 2000
Future plans:
Building it up into a "tough tourer" i guess you could say. End goal is something i can take on any track i want, stay as long as i want, in any area i want. A tough ask, but i think it can be done
