TB48 reco brake booster and master cylinder for sale
I bought a used brake booster for a GUTB48 to put over the top of my Willwood brake upgrade. The Willwoods needed a high pressure to be effective. The booster was reconditioned in Dandenong by a company who specialise in this, and a new master installed. The booster is pulled apart and all elements inside the unit replace. this was done in 2021, during Covid.
The booster cost $400, the reco $440 and the master was $150 from memory.
The installation is fully achievable and not difficult at all. Its a big booster. The results were significant over the Willwoods, however I decided to go Hydroboost instead, so this unit was used for maybe 300klm? This was fitted to a GQ Patrol without issue.
The set up cost close to $1000. I have swapped out the master with one that is brand new and never had fluid in it. I am chasing $450 firm, its a bargain. Pick up Knoxfield.
