G'day, former Cruiser owner now joined the dark side
G'day guys. Long time listener, first-time caller
I'm a fairly new 2004 GU ZD30 owner - previously I've only had 6cyl petrol, auto Cruisers... so this move to the dark side is very different!
She was previously used as a tourer (which I'll also be doing) and other than a new intercooler and radiator is fairly stock.
I live/work in SA about 4.5 hours south of Uluru and "commute" 480km to and from Alice every weekend, so I've had quite a few kms recently to get used to its quirks. Loving it so far (especially the 11L/100km) other than the frustrating lack of power on a 130km limit highway
The desert tracks are already taking their toll (and going through tyres like there's no tomorrow), but I'll be moving soon so no more desert tracks on a daily basis.
