Kiwi11 here, closing in on retirement and starting to plan for the big lap. Have previously owned two patrols 2.8l t/d and the 3l t/d. Both of these were used for long distance touring with the occasional off-roading thrown in. Needed the bigger car/truck to carry around four kids and the extras. When the lease finished on the last Patrol, we moved into the last of the 2.7l t/d RR Sport. Pure luxury and great off road. We took that vehicle off road more time than when we had either Patrol. The lease finished and the Kids have all bolted and am now driving a Audi Q5. Looking for advice and guidance before we settle down to our retirement plans. I'll post some questions relating to the Y62, cost of ownership, how to improve fuel economy, preferred mods etc, in the appropriate folders.
