Gday all, about a month ago I gave the wagon a bit of a birthday and replaced the rubber hose that goes from below the thermostat housing to the bottom of the expansion tank, and also replaced the water pump. Since doing these 2 things I'm constantly topping up the expansion tank ( where the recovery cap goes) and the autron temp gauge seem to fluctuate more than it used to ( not over heating) what's everyone's thought?? I keep thinking that there may be air stuck in there somewhere?? Its an '04 td42, and I've just done over 4000ks over the last 2 weeks, from Tassie to coffs harbor via Dubbo, then back down the coast, I'd have thought that any air would have come out by now??Thanks in advance.
