Had the on John Deere tractor hydraulics but no idea of working pressure , very similar to the old reusable fittings on oxy / acetylene hoses , the barb part screws inside the hose and the outer screws over the outside sort of crushing and biting as it goes .
They only failed at the join if allowed to swing freely for to long , used to tie up the slack with hay bale twine .
