I was told by a canvas worker, not to buy a swag that is made from cotton / poly cotton canvas. Apparently they aren`t as water proof and don`t last as long. I was told to water proof your swag by using the garden hose after you set the swag up. Well I bought a swag and followed the advice. I used it in the rain with no problems and I did use a tarp to put the swag on to, so it wasn`t on bare ground. I enjoyed the time with the swag.
