True - mine has medium springs (4" lift) in the front and dropping the swaybar off makes little on road difference. The rear flexes well on it's own (like all patrols) and I can't drop mine off yet anyway as the upper control arm hits my fuel tank - getting a bent Superior Engineering arm put in to sort that though. It's generally the front you want more flex from and to be honest, they aren't hard to drop off when you want to, and then reconnect before the drive home - just zip tie the bar up once disconnected from the link pins so you don't drag them through anything and bend it/snap off the brackets.
