Thanks to NissanPatrol.com.au for my Birthday email! It reminded me to post pictures!
Hello all.
Today, I've received that dreaded annual e-mail from the forum, reminding me that I'm getting ever older!
But it has jogged my mind, to post some pictures of my Patrol GR SE with its new tug attached. The car has been it's outstandingly reliable self, all this past year. This caravan is the Patrol's third tug so far... Maybe I should get myself some caravan symbols for the front wing The previous two, (both Swift Conqueror's), have now been out-lived! Sorry, I don't have pictures of them here for this time
The first, after both nearside wheels fell off, just 19 miles after it's service! The Patrol however was completely unperturbed, which allowed me to bring the outfit to a safe stop. But the caravan still was extensively damaged.
The second and most recent of them was "bombarded", with very large high velocity hail stones. It did look quite a sight! Many vehicles countrywide suffered similar fates during a hailstorm during 2012.
I have also had new springs and shocks all round fitted, to ensure the ride was spot on. The old (original) system was now quite soft and after 90,000 miles of faithful service, it was only fair, to treat her to new undergear
Thanks are due, however, to everyone for your unselfish sharing of experiences here! I haven't ever posted much, but you and the forum are, together, such an invaluable resource for us all.http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...s/clapping.gif
