    Camp fire bbq pole

Well its been a while since posting in this thread so here is the latest.

Its a simple pole made from 20mm shaft, or cold extruded steel, a small stabilizing plate on the bottom and then 9mm shaft wrapped around the pole to hang your gear on..

Now you can buy these. Retails around $150 for the pole, plate and hanging rod.

Well I didn't need a plate due to already having a grill plate for our gas bbq

So i got to buying the steel..
1m of the 20mm shaft (and a small off cut around 100mm)
    150mm of 40x5 flat bar
And 2m of 9mm shaft saw me good, but it depends on what you want to do..

So all you do is simple work out what you want and put a loop on one end..

And a kick up on one end to stop the kettle sliding off..

And for my hot plate I simply made a v shape, the ring in the center and then some small bends to make the hot plate sit level..

So yea an oxy helps, but its hot needed. Can be done with just muscle..

    So yea. Enjoy..
