Nsw modification laws / regulations for large tyres and lifts

    Hey guys,

After days of research I'm still a little lost about the current rules for modifications in nsw,

I know it has changed so you can only increase tyre diameter by 15mm without engineering certification.

But the reason I've been researching is I have now got some 35" tyres and as soon as I looked at getting an engineers certificate I found the rules had changed.

Can someone confirm that they have had 35" tyres or suspension mods engineered recently, when, where and how much,
Any information will help as long as it's recent.

I would prefer to run these tyres legally, due to insurance as much as anything. I only plan to run 35's for trips, not daily... I also have 2" lift and 2"body lift that I was intending to get engineered as well if required.

Let me know of your recent experiences or where I can find current information.

    Cheers
