As im planing a trip to Qld next month I decided to replace my windscreen as it was all pitted and scratched making it glare out both in the sun and head lights ,So i rang Windscreens "O'...." to ask for a quote,After having to give my name ,address,phone number she comes back with a quote for $390 for the screen and $190 for the seal.a total of $590,this i thought was a little to much lol
I Googled windscreen replacement in Melbourne (i live in Sunbury)and National windscreens came up so i gave them a call. Told the guy what i wanted and he said $225,i ask him is that just for the windscreen or seal,he say no its for both and we come to you .. Hes just left,took a total of 30 mins,i have a new screen ,new seal and i saved $365.
So just a word to the wise,give Windscreens "O'...." a miss as they take advantage of people who don't shop around and rely on catchy advertising.
