Didn't pick this up until after I had some second handies blasted and powder coated, but one rear coil is 10 or 15mm shorter than the other. This is with the coil standing on end, comparing the height of the end of the final coil from one spring to the other

I should have either steered clear of the springs, or had it scragged or reset (or whatever the term is) before I made it pretty.

I am going to put them under Silver as is. My question is, which side gets the short straw/spring?

For some reason I am thinking driver's side. Partly because the left hand side, on road at least does a bit more work than the RHS, and thus might settle more/enjoy the additional height.

Against that, the RHS has me in the driver's seat, and sometimes no one else. so that could be an argument to put the tall one the same side as my rear end
